Maurizio Caschetto
Founder, Editor-In-Chief, Content Producer
Maurizio Caschetto is Founder, Editor-In-Chief and Content Producer of The Legacy of John Williams website. He started the website in September 2018 with the aim of building the largest and most accurate archive on the internet about composer John Williams, with a specific focus on interviews with musicians and collaborators who worked with the Maestro over the years. The associated podcast show was launched in Feburary 2019, with Maurizio writing, producing and editing all the episodes.
Maurizio is a professional of the television and video industry with 20+ years experience. He worked as Content Producer, Video Editor and Post-Producer for such world’s leading entertainment brands as The Walt Disney Company, ViacomCBS International, Warner Bros. Discovery and Sky. His work has also been recognized with a Silver Promax Award in 2008.
He’s currently based in Milano, Italy.


Tim Burden
Head Contributor
Tim Burden is Head Contributor of The Legacy of John Williams. He’s co-host and co-producer on several episodes of The Legacy of John Williams podcast and video events.
Tim is an Event & Concert Producer, Radio Host and Voice Over Talent. He’s Member of the International Film Music Critics Association, Board Member of the Film Music Foundation, regular contributor of Film Score Monthly Online and guest host of Cinematic Sound Radio. Tim also works with various arts organisations and film festivals, producing film related events including major concerts of film music. In 2019, he passionately produced a special project, in association with the Leonard Bernstein Estate, of Humphrey Burton’s Mahler 2 concert film at Ely Cathedral for Bernstein’s 100th Birthday.
Tim lives in Northern Ireland, UK.
Ilaria Ruffoni
Social Media and PR Manager
Ilaria Ruffoni is the social media and PR manager of The Legacy of John Williams.
She manages The Legacy of John Williams’ social media channels, oversees editorial content and strategic planning.
Graduated at Università degli Studi di Milano in Intercultural and Linguistic Mediation majoring in russian and arabic studies, Ilaria has a passion for tv, social media and everything pop culture – but mostly cats, really. She’s into ballet and will occasionally do pliés around you. Ilaria has worked as a PA for one of the Big Four and major boutique firms in Milan, Italy.
She is currently EA to the CEO and CFO of an international broadcasting media company.


Gianmaria Caschetto
Illustrator and Contributor
Gianmaria Caschetto is main Illustrator and regular contributor of The Legacy of John Williams website. He’s the author of the drawing used as the Header and Main Logo of the website. Gianmaria also did several sketches of many of the musicians and people who appeared as guests on The Legacy of John Williams podcast.
Graduated at Milan’s Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera (one of Italy’s most distinguished art schools), Gianmaria is a freelance illustrator and IT Support Engineer. His graphic novel De Val va de Weerwolf, on a script by Don Vitalski, was published in 2015. He also collaborates with La Dante association in activities promoting Italian culture in foreign countries, and teaches Italian language.
He lives in Belgium with his family.
Antonio Di Iorio
Logo Music Composer
Antonio Di Iorio is the composer of the official Logo Music of The Legacy of John Williams.
Antonio is a Los Angeles based award-winning composer for film, TV and concert hall. He graduated in Composition, Piano and Conducting in Italy and in Seattle. In 2014, he attended the coveted and highly selective ASCAP Film & TV Scoring Workshop with Richard Bellis in Hollywood.
Besides being busy on his own projects and award-winning movies like Wings Over Washington, Il Viaggio, Jacks, Life In Between, Spirito Eroico (for the Olympic Games in Vancouver 2010), Di Iorio has heavily worked alongside film composer Tom Holkenborg (aka Junkie XL) as additional composer, and his music can be massively heard in such movies as Godzilla Vs Kong, Sonic The Hedgehog, Terminator: Dark Fate, Mortal Engines, Alita: Battle Angel, Tomb Raider, The Dark Tower. He wrote additional music also for composers Pinar Toprak (Shotgun Wedding) and Henry Jackman (Strange World).
Antonio’s work has been recognized with several awards and prizes, including the Global Music Awards 2017 (Silver Medal Winner), the FMF Young Talent Awards 2015 (1st Prize), and the Transatlantyk Film Music Competition 2014. He was also nominated two times for the prestigious Hollywood In Media Award (2013 and 2014).
