The Legacy of John Williams is proud to announce its involvement in this unique celebration of the art and the legacy of Hollywood’s finest composers.
Score Masters: Celebrating John Williams and Jerry Goldsmith is an online event premiering on Monday, February 8, 2021, initiated by the Ipswich Film Theatre and produced by The Legacy of John Williams in collaboration with The Goldsmith Odyssey podcast.
The roundtable discussion is co-hosted by The Legacy of John Williams and The Goldsmith Odyssey with an incredible roster of distinguished guests from the film and music industry: Academy Award-nominated composer and conductor David Newman, Grammy-winning conductor and composer Leonard Slatkin, sound engineer and producer Bruce Botnick, soundtrack record producer Mike Matessino, legendary studio pianist/keyboardist Mike Lang, composer Leanna Primiani and author/writer Jeff Bond.
This group of esteemed panelists will discuss the art and the legacy of Goldsmith and Williams together with moderators Maurizio Caschetto, Yavar Moradi, W. David Lichty and Tim Burden.
The event will debut as a YouTube Premiere on Monday, February 8, 2021, in coincidence with both composers’ birthday week. More information will follow.
